Application Specialist SAP Auto Aftersales | Enterprise IT | Dubai

Overview of the Role:

This position works as part of the SAP Application Delivery and Support team, to assist with solution support and development activities in the Automotive After Sales Service. Ensure all the business requirements are met by providing robust and scalable solutions.

What Will You Do

Application Management

To manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain Automotive Aftersales Service solutions to agreed service level standards.
Develops and maintains Functional documentation for solution modifications.
Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.

Solution Delivery

Work with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions.
Adheres to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices.
Estimate and deliver multiple projects assignments and system change requests as per agreed resourcing and timelines with required quality.

Other Key Responsibilities

To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics as one IT team.
Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

Required skills to be successful:

Technology domain expertise in Automotive After Sales Service
Should have good experience in SAP IS-Auto Dealer Business Management
Familiar with configuring Service Order, Service Maintenance Contract, Warranty, MRSS, CATS and NWBC process.
Well versed with SAP DBM integration with SAP MM and SAP FICO
Experience in integration with third party application

What equips you for the role:

College or University degree in Information Systems or related discipline
Minimum of 5 year’s experience in implementation and supporting SAP IS Auto DBM (Dealer Business Management) Aftersales Service Process
Experience of working in Automotive Retail Industry dealing with Passenger and Commercial Vehicle
Experience in implementing large and complex SAP projects.
