CNC Production Manager

1. Role Objective: It is the main Department to produce Cabients, ODF and Fabricated

items for the total Company. Responsible for the management and coordination of dept

operations including machining, Bending, Laser, Bunch. Powder coating, Fabrication to improve the facility’s performance in all aspects.

STRATEGIC:

 Provide the planning and leadership to the Production Department by ensuring

that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are

developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Production plan.

 Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual Production plan for the

organization.

Drive profitability, create, implement and manage business strategies to achieve

the Company’s objectives and to provide continual stimulus to its growth and operational efficiency.

 Ensure continuous improvement in all areas of productions.

 Instill amongst all employees company Vision, Mission, Culture and Quality

Objectives.

 Ensure total quality management to meet and exceed customer’s requirements.

 Implement and establish the QMS based on ISO standard.

 Develop and oversee budgets, plans and programs to ensure the optimum

utilization of available equipment, space, facility and human resource necessary

to attain manufacturing objectives.

 Critically review and monitor operating results and to specifically update and

recommend to Management on issues affecting Quality and Profitability.

 Develop and priorities tactical plans to assure achievement of factory operational

goals.

 Optimize production capacity in relation to finished goods inventory requirement.

 Assure minimal back order status and adequate service levels through close

liaison among marketing, production, store and materials personnel.

 Assure desired level of product quality.

 Assure maintenance of product standards through vigilant administration of high

manufacturing standard, employee awareness and training programs, adherence

to high level of housekeeping standards etc.

 Provide positive employee relations to ensure the achievement of productivity

objectives and maintenance of high morale at all levels within the workface.

 Formulate, develop and implement policies and action plans to maximize

production.

 Develop strategic vision for operations direction and performance requirement to

align with Company’s mission and objectives.

 Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time.

 Organization of the Production Department, including internal procedures.

 Developing work procedures with other departments in order to increase

efficiency of the overall company set by the management.

 Continues training and development and cross training of production technicians

and personnel

 Continuous trouble shooting of manufacturing bottlenecks and suggesting the

acquisition of tools, machines, human and other resources to solve bottlenecks in

an economical manner.

 Maintaining all tools and machines and equipment in good operating condition.

 Designing and managing systems to ensure safety of employees.

 Maintaining workshop tidy and clean at all times. Including daily cleanliness of

machines and equipment, floors and pathways, tables etc.

 Upgrading workshop employee culture emphasizing quality and efficiency.

 Coordinating maintenance with production to ensure that periodic and corrective

maintenance is done in a timely fashion in order not to hamper production and

maintain maximum possible equipment life.

 Working to ensure that deadlines of projects are met through the management of

resources. Working to ensure that delays are compensated to bring projects

back on schedule.

 Developing, streamlining and managing Process Planning and Production

Planning & scheduling sections to improve efficiency and quality.

 Developing a system of distribution of daily tasks, and the feedback and reporting

system for the production department. Also, developing a system for updating

and recording feedback information.

 Scheduling of projects including the distribution and execution supervision of

daily and hourly schedules for machine operators.

 Reporting to management all relevant progress of production, developments,

problems, etc…

 Manufacturing research and development for the purpose of continuous

improvement in processes, tools, tooling, methods, cycle reduction, and cost

minimization.

 Participating in the development, selection & inventory keeping of tools, tooling,

equipment, spare parts.

 Performing workshop administrative tasks of keeping track of manufacturing

personnel attendance, commitment, and conduct at all times.

 Development and management of documentation of technical and administrative

procedures.

 Development and management of system for handling and storage and archiving

of in-process and finished process planning sheets, drawings, etc…

Development and management of system for workflow including material

handling and in-process storage of parts in waiting areas, etc…

 Development of the preventive maintenance function for all machines, systems,

equipment and tools in the workshop.

 Other job responsibilities assigned in writing by Top Management.

 To monitor day to day Production.

 Making new formulation for cost reduction.

 Making new tools for new products.

 Research and development in process.

 Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

having the know how in CNC, laser, Bending, Bunching, Powder coating and fabrication.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

 Oversees the responsibilities and duties of all employees in the Production

Function.

 Responsible for the training and development of personnel in the Production

Function.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Educational Qualifications:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years

Behavioral Skills:

Customer orientation, professional development, team work, leadership, process and

execution excellence.

Technical Skills:

Computer skills and communications skills in English language (read, write and speak).
