Infection Control Practitioners
Job Title: Infection Control Practitioner
The Infection Control Practitioner coordinates the hospital’s Infection Control program in compliance with the established policies, procedures and standards of care. The employee will conduct surveillance and education relative to the prevention, detection, identification and control of infectious/communicable diseases within the hospital.
Education and Licensure:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any health related field.
- Completion of a basic training program for infection prevention
Professional Experience:
For Saudi Staff:
- Bachelor's Degree Minimum of (2) Years continuous working experience in any health related field.
- Master’s degree: fresh graduate.
For Non Saudi Staff:
Bachelor's Degree: Minimum of (5) Years continuous working experience in Nursing of which at least (2) Years of recent direct experience in Infection Control in an acute care setting or related facility is necessary
Master’s degree: Minimum of (3) Years continuous working experience in Nursing of which at least (1) Year of recent direct experience in Infection Control in an acute care setting or related facility is necessary.

- Advanced knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control.
- Knowledge of Principles of Microbiology and Laboratory Procedures.

- Proven leadership skills and cooperation.
- Good Computer Skills e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet.
- Participation in research projects. Bilingual ( English / Arabic )
