We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Garment Merchandiser to join our growing company at our new head office in Abu Dhabi UAE. The company Operates two factories in Riyadh, KSA and Sri Lanka in the production of School Uniforms.

1. Forecasting, price setting, and negotiating prices & lead times with buyers & suppliers

2. Ensuring product development is aligned with market trends

3. Liaising with designer & buyers on Product development requirements & following up the same with suppliers for samples and updates.

4. Help buyers with Price negotiations.

5. Order follow up from initial Proto to PP samples and frequently visiting factories to ensure all on schedule.

6. QC files to be maintained and shared with QC for inspections and organize pre-production meetings with suppliers.

7. Follow up on PO confirmation with suppliers and update buyers on production progress and deliveries.

8. Prepare courier samples, shipments to clients and vendors

9. Conduct product evaluation as well as benchmarking against relevant market items

10. Keep track of purchase orders

11. Ensure on time shipment after production

12. Regular factory visits to ensure product quality

13. Market evaluation and new suppliers to be introduced

المهارات

Bachelors/ Masters in Textile Degree
Proficient use of Excel and database
English: Fluent, written and spoken.
Adapt to travelling schedule.
8-Years Experience Min
Pro-active attitude
Adaptable and flexible, adjusting to multiple demands.
Embodies the highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
High ability to work independently and within deadlines
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fair knowledge of different qualities & their usage in the products.
Fair knowledge various countries supply chains (china, thailand, vietnam), their strengths & weaknesses.
