Business Intelligence Manager
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Designing and implementing data pipelines to efficiently collect, store, and process large amounts of data from various sources
- Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure that it is accurate and ready for analysis
- Analyzing data using statistical techniques and software tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Identifying trends and patterns in the data, and using this information to make recommendations for business improvement
- Building and maintaining dashboards to monitor key metrics and performance indicators, and automating reports to be delivered to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders, using data visualization techniques and reports
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development
- Continuously improving data analytics processes and techniques, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Applying machine learning algorithms and techniques to make predictions and recommendations based on data patterns
- Collaborating with data engineers to design and implement data architectures that are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Mentoring and training other team members in data analysis techniques and tools
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Degree from a recognized university in Computer Science, MIS, BIS, Engineering, Data Science or any related field
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics, preferably with an International bank/ organization
Technical Competencies:
- Experience in Statistical Analysis software, such as R or SAS
- Proficiency in Data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Hands-on experiences in Programming languages for data analysis, such as Python
- Knowledge in Relational databases, such as SQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with Machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
- NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
- Proficiency in Workflow data analytical tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku
Competencies:
- Strong Analytical skills and proven ability to think out-of-the-box
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics/ requirements
