Purpose of the Job:
To Partake in the formulation of the company sales strategies & plans, and actively participate in their implementation through identifying and developing prospects changing them into active customers and consistently achieving sales targets with regards to volume, products and services types, margins, and collections.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Proactively gather and analyse market intelligence and recommend/take appropriate actions as necessary.
· Work proactively towards the development of new segments and leads in line with the approved Sales strategy and plan of action and in support of the sales budget/targets.
· Maintain and develop professional relations with customers and prospects in line of the corporate identity and brand image.
· Attend events and exhibitions to expand the company’s network and maintain effectively professional relationships with existing and potential partners.
· Maintain up-to-date products and services knowledge including total awareness of the latest technological advancements within the industry to assure the delivery of effective sales pitch at all times.
· Prepare and develop value-propositions for prospects/customers offering creative solutions for their business needs.
· Prepare and deliver company presentation, value-propositions, quotations and negotiate commercial terms within the agreed authority with the aim to successfully turn quotations into sales orders/contracts.
· Effectively liaise with the relevant staff internally and vendors externally to assure customer satisfactions while safeguarding the company’s business interests.
· Promptly and professionally respond to customers’ queries and effectively address their complaints.
· Ensure timely payments of customer dues and promptly and effectively address potential defaulters.
· Effectively partake in the assessment and profiling of the profitability of executed sales contracts/orders and individual customer’s/product’s.
· Effectively partake in the development of the departmental dashboard and the reporting of individual KPIs.
· Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the line manager.
