Solaris Sun Administrator – Kuwait / Oil and Gas Sector
A. Accountabilities:
- Perform system builds and HW upgrade the Solaris & UNIX servers as well as HW maintenance and repairs /replacements.
- Responsible for maintain & enhance existing systems administrator tools.
- Responsible for diagnose and isolate operating system, server-side networking and application related problems.
- Maintain effective communications with IT team and other support organization.
- Provide system backup support including user menus, scripts, backup software and web-based monitoring tools.
- Assist with reporting metrics on system performance, stability and utilization. Working environment. on premises or cloud.

B. Qualification:
- Experienced in Solaris 10 & (11 is a plus).
- Experienced in Open boot rint.
- Experienced in installing Patches & packages.
- Solaris 10 & 11 certified Engineer.
- Good experience for on-premises, cloud, hybrid environments.
C. Experience:
- At least five years' experience in administering Solaris & UNIX system.
D. Education:
- University graduate in Computer/Electronics Engineering/Science/Information Technology.
E. General Skills:
- Fluent in English-Preferably bilingual.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good Communication skill.
D. General Remark:
- The role is Kuwait Based for Oil & Gas sector.
- The salary budget is 3000/-USD – 4000/-USD as per the qualification and experience non-negotiable.
