Material Engineer
الوصف الوظيفي
- Perform the assigned duties based on the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the technical department goals.
- Review and make recommendation for approval of all submitted materials by the suppliers.
- Ensure compliance of submitted materials with the projects specifications.
- Prepare technical and financial evaluation of offers submitted by suppliers.
- Prepare budgets and proposals, write reports and analyze costs and ensure all activities remain within budget.
- Prepare Materials submittals and compliance reports with Project's specifications.
- Follow-up Materials submittals process until obtaining approval from the Consultant.
- Supervise, participate and direct sampling and testing of all materials according to the contract and the specifications.
- Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval.
- Suggest alternatives complying with specified materials to reduce the cost after value engineering
- Any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.
المهارات
Minimum Education
Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering.
Minimum Experience
3+ years of experience in a related field.
Languages
English, Arabic
