Climate Action Now is hiring : HR officer جمعية العمل المناخي
The Climate Action Association (CAN) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the organization in all aspects of human resources management. This includes developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures, managing the recruitment process, employee relations, performance management, employee development and compliance with labor laws and regulations. As an HR Officer at CAN, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in shaping the organization and its direction. You will be joining a dynamic and passionate team that is committed to tackling the pressing issue of climate change and environmental protection in Jordan, and your contributions will be critical to achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures in line with the organization's objectives and legal requirements.
Manage the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening and interviewing candidates, and making recommendations for hiring.
Manage employee relations issues, including mediating disputes and providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling any required reporting.
Manage performance management process, including setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee development and career progression.
Collaborate with other departments and managers to identify and address workforce needs and opportunities for improvement.
Attend to other HR-related matters as assigned by the management

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in human resources management.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Jordan.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus.
