Position Title: Marine Business Development Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: up to 30K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:

One of the leading providers of specialized services for the shipping, marine and offshore operations within the Oil & Gas sectors in UAE.

Job Description:

Research and identify business opportunities in the UAE and GCC regions to support the Company’s business plans and specifically Civil and Marine.
Conduct sector-wise analysis to identify opportunities in the key area.
Preparation of marketing initiatives and collateral to present and enhance the Company’s image and reputation to attract and secure new Clients.
Preparation and presentation of business proposals to potential Clients to ensure pre-qualification criteria are met thereby improving the Company’s potential to be invited to tender.
Continuously monitor market trends within the region and recommend appropriate business development strategies to the Commercial Director.
Develop a database of key executives/decision makers and future project initiatives of potential Clients to facilitate reciprocal business opportunities in existing and new markets in the region.
Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with existing and potential Clients and Consultants to ensure satisfaction levels are met and wherever possible exceeded

Qualifications:

Male, 50 years old and below
MBA or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any business related field
Minimum 10 years of comprehensive marine experience in GCC
Must have strong understanding of marine transportation line of business, including division objectives, customer base, company protocols, and relevant technology platforms
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio)
Knowledge of the maritime industry is required
