Our client is an MNC specialised in the building and construction materials sector, the are looking to recruit a Sales Director to be responsible for Middle East & Africa to support their growth in the region.
Description
Developing and implementing a sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets of over 350 million USD in the Middle East and Africa regions, with a specific focus on the construction steel industryBuilding and managing a large sales team of over 45 people to achieve sales goals and objectivesIdentifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key customers and partners in the construction steel industryMaintaining a strong understanding of the construction steel market and trends in the Middle East and Africa regionsCollaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales and overall business strategiesProviding regular reporting and analysis on sales activities and results to senior managementManaging the sales budget and forecasting future salesLeading sales negotiations and closing dealsTraveling frequently to the Middle East and Africa region to meet with customers and partners
Profile
Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar role in the construction steel industry, specifically in the Middle East and Africa regionsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenueStrong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and managing a large sales teamStrong knowledge of the construction steel market and trends in the Middle East and Africa regionsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
