UI/UX Designer

Qistas is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join the Innovation Team. Qistas is the leading online reference for Arab legal content, combining the most comprehensive coverage with a state-of-the-art search engine and offering the serious legal professional an unmatched tool for legal inquiry and research, offering a challenging supportive, and growth-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements.
• Build on existing user personas as the team develops new and exciting functionalities for the product.
• Design end-to-end flows and simple and elegant experiences across external and internal platforms.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately.
• Understand and implement user testing and UX research to create data-driven solutions.
• Solve user problems using UX best practices and beautiful UI.

Qualification:

• A University Degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia or a similar field
• At least one year of proven work experience with UI/UX design
• Solid English and Arabic reading and research skills.
• Portfolio of design projects.

Skills:

• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe. cc ).
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, and Figma
