Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Our client is a large private hospital in the state of Kuwait, looking for a Registrar Neurology who is providing advanced diagnostic treatments and consultative services in every aspect of neurological medicine. You care for patients with the spectrum of neurologic disorders, from routine outpatient conditions to life-threatening disorders which require an intensive care unit and around the clock monitoring.
- Provide supervision and share responsibilities where and when appropriate;
- Manage the assessment and admission of acute and elective patients under the care of his/her team;
- Undertake responsibilities as directed by the Consultant, also organize relevant investigations, ensure the results are followed up, sighted and signed;
- When allocated ward duties within the service undertake regular examination management of, and updating of management plan of admitted patients for whom the Neurology service is responsible on a frequency agreed;
- Ensure x-rays are organized for weekly team radiology sessions;
- Ensure relevant documents, e.g. discharge summary, medication card and follow-up appointments are given to patient on discharge as necessary;
- Maintain a satisfactory standard of documentation in the files of patients;
- All prescriptions and notes are to be signed, with a printed name and locator number legibly recorded.

education & qualifications:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification in Neurology;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience (including 1 year after Master);
- Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
