Ticketing and Reservation Agent
We are seeking an experienced ticketing and reservation agent to join our Trip away team. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, and a strong track record of success in ticketing and reservations.
The ticketing and reservation agent will be responsible for managing the ticketing and reservation process for our customers, including booking flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person
- Book flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements for customers
- Issue tickets and other travel documents
- Process payment and handle billing and payment issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with marketing and sales efforts
- Meet or exceed sales and performance targets
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Strong experience in ticketing and reservations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including GDS systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work on Amadeus and Galileo booking systems ( any other systems would be considered as a plus).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
