Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. They are looking to hire a dynamic and motivated Consultant Radiology as part of the development and expansion of the Radiology services.

major responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic radiology and clinical/interventional radiology services to patients;
Conduct radiologic procedures needed for diagnosis and treatment, such as X-ray, MRI, CAT scan, Mammography, Ultrasound, Angiograms, etc;
Interpreted results of the aforementioned Radiologic procedures and referred them to the attending physicians;
Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them;
Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary;
Informing patients about the medical imaging process;
Performing or directing radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures;
Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses;
Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians;
Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses;
Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.

Education & Qualifications:

MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification AND completion of high qualification (Fellowship, PHD, European Board, American, Canadian, German, Irish & UK Board);
Experience not less than 12 years, 9 years after the high qualification will get Consultant level license;
Experience not less than 7 years, 6 years after the high qualification will get Specialist level license.
