الوصف الوظيفي

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts ward rounds on a regular basis.
• Resolves all pharmaceutical problems emanating from ward rounds.
• Monitors prescription and medication errors for In-patients.
• Supervises the correction for all prescription and dispensing errors and take appropriate actions to prevent such occurrences in the futures.
• Formulates standard operating policies and procedures for Clinical Pharmacy practice.
• Generates relevant reports on a weekly or monthly basis as necessary.
• Reports any urgent matters to Pharmacy Director and offer possible solutions.
• Ensures that new Staff receives proper orientation concerning policies & procedures on Clinical Pharmacy practice.
• Participates in relevant Hospital Committees such as Nutritional Support Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Antibiotic Review Committee and any other Committee as and when required.
• Performs other duties within the realm of his qualifications and experience as directed by Pharmacy Director.
