We have an open vacancy for the Post of Project Manager for Roads and Infrastructure Projects, the candidates should have the required qualifications and meet the Job Description as set below:
Requirements and Qualifications:
1- Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
2- Minimum of 15 years of work experience in project management and design of roads and infrastructure projects.
3- Middle East experience (in particular of UAE )
4- Knowledge of project management and design techniques and tools.
5- Direct work experience in project management capacity.
6- Proficient in design and project management software’s.
7- Fluent in English and Arabic Languages.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Oversee the project design from start to finish.
2- Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
3- Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
4- Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
5- Ensure that the design activities move according to predetermined schedule.
6- Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
7- Communicate effectively with the stakeholders responsible for completing various phases of the project.
8- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include sub-consultants, contractors, sub-contractors.
9- Monitor the progress of the design activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all concerned teams.
10- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
11- Periodic inspection of sites under construction.
12- Ensure project documents are complete.
13- Identify the elements of project design likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
14- Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing to client.
