Position Title: DCS Operator
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 350 OMR depending on experience and qualification, plus accommodation, transportation, and OT pay
Job Location: Sohar, Oman
About the Client:
One of the leading and well-established manufacturing plant of Chlor alkali which operates across GCC region
Job Description:
- Maintain the entire process parameters within specified limit by controlling from DCS
- Troubleshoot, prevent process problems by doing root cause analysis, and take corrective action as per direction of Shift/Process Engineer
- Generate PTW (CWORKS) for the maintenance works to be carried out inside the plant and provide process clearance for work to maintenance department
- Act as a coordinator during emergency as per direction of incident controller
- Involve in planning of shutdown related activity

Qualifications:
- Male, 26 to 45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in in Chemical Engineering or related
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same role from Chlor Alkali Plant
- Must know how to make daily production report including utilities consumption and dispatches
