Senior Officer – Marketing and Communications
Role Summary
To execute communications and PR activities to help support in promoting the company's brand image and reputation in the market.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Support Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications in setting the strategy for Media Relations and supporting with Social Media engagement and define acceptable levels of interactions. Work with the company's PR Agency to ensure best-in-class media relations/media interactions.
• Receive request from Media, engage with journalist and assess before drafting a response leveraging on FAQs and IPF or consulting with Senior Manager if the request is unique.
• Draft the proposed response to the questions/requests and share with Senior Manager for editing and comments.
• Gather required data points for the interview from existing dashboards or via data extraction request.
• Coordinate interview if request is approved.
• Draft PR (through support of external agency)
• Circulate PR to media channels (through PR agency)
• Get media coverage/media monitoring report from PR agency and share with Senior Manager.
• Manage commissioned market research to support company in achieving its corporate objectives.
• Design, draft and deliver innovative company Annual Reports.
• Constantly monitor specialize PR vendors’ performance.
• Support in planning, managing and executing marketing campaigns through digital channels (and traditional if required).
• Utilize marketing analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and devise strategies for better PR results and performance in subsequent PR campaigns.
• Organize and manage events (in the company and in outside venues).
• Create creative and professional presentations templates.
• Leveraging the Creative brief, work internally and with agencies to finalize the campaign key messages.
• Work internally and with agencies to finalize the most suitable channels to fit available budget and maximize campaign objectives in consultation with Senior Manager,
• Leveraging the defined key messages and selected channels, work internally and with agencies to finalize the creative design.
• Work to finalize media plan with agency, review, and approve by Senior Manager and CEO.
• Initiate approved campaign / advertising plan and manage associates Pos and budgetary requirements.
• Monitor campaign performance from agency and share with Senior Manager.
• Provide PMO after consultation with Senior Manager, with data to calculate marketing KPIs on a monthly basis.
• Review KPI performance on a monthly basis against targets and report shortfalls to Senior Manager.
• Promote adoption of products for both direct customers and subscribers.
• Monitor and increase brand awareness and direct customer satisfaction.
• Help in design innovative marketing and communication visuals and messages.
• Constantly monitor specialize marketing vendors’ performance.

• Optimize, automate, and streamline marketing and communications operations by introducing new tools and enhancements to the existing SRM platform.

Experience & Knowledge
1. Minimum experience of 3 years in marketing.
2. Relevant experience in marketing communications activities.
3. Direct experience in managing visual design teams and delivering highly effective results.
4. Direct experience in managing marketing agencies and social media communications.
Education & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Projects.
3. Bilingual in Arabic and English.
5. Strong teamwork management skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels.
Abilities
1. Able to deal with varied tasks and to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
2. Able to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision.
3. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
4. Applies a structured and systematic approach to problems.
**UAE Nationals are preferred for this role.
