Background

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
An efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills is needed. The cashier will handle reception desk for the ALC and will register clients requested services, ensure that prices and services related are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers, about training programs, services, activities schedules, classrooms availability, and/or promotions. s/he will also respond to complaints, client communications, and maintain a clean workspace.
Main Duties:
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Registers sales on a cash registry and any other tracking and documentation tools required, and totaling customers’ payments.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Provides clear information on the training programs, schedules of the activities, classes availability and other queries by the customers.
- Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
- Verifies credit acceptance; and operating credit card authorization systems.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Provides pricing information by answering questions.
- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Flexibility in regards of working hours and in traditional work hours timeline.
Job requirements:
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, customer service, or any related field,
Experience and competencies (both behavioral and technical):
- A minimum of 2 Years of experience as a cashier and in customer services, and experience related to training and/or testing centers is preferred,
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Strong work ethic and high level of accuracy.
- Being responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service.

Language Requirements:
- Very good English (writing and speaking).
- Professional competency in Arabic, spoken and written.
