BACKGROUND

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and coordinate all referral transportation movements in cooperation with referral officers, ambulance drivers and focal points in referral hospitals.
  • To work closely with referral hospitals’ focal points, organize appointments, follow on estimated costs and any pending financial issue.
  • Supervise referral officers including preparation of schedules, time sheets and appraisals.
  • Create a systematic process for ambulance supplies replacement, equipment and medications check.
  • Participate in referral team data collection and statistics reports.
  • Follow on ambulances maintenance, equipment and consumables in coordination with paramedics and drivers’ focal points.
  • Follow on the logistic needs, fleet, tracking logs, and any needed procurements.
  • To act as the Camp Mortality focal point, responsible for regular reporting and updating the mortality sheet.
  • In coordination with referral doctor to follow on pending cases.
  • Main focal point for any coming referral medical missions.
  • Maintain an adequate tracking system for vehicles and drivers’ movements that includes destinations, login/out and passengers on daily basis.
  • Organize ambulances movements inside the camp (Internal referrals).
  • Prepare a daily schedule for elective cases and plan of transportation.
  • Ensure proper documentation of cases and systematic archives of patients medical records.
  • Perform all referral officers’ tasks if needed.
  • Participate in in camp meetings referral team representative 
  • Any other related tasks assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a Jordanian University in Nursing, Pharmcy and Paramedic
  • Minimum 5 years of experience (3 of them in similar role)
  • Experience with an NGO
  • Very Good English language skills
