Job Summary:
The GP with a focus on Women’s Wellness and Sexual Health will diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases.
Full time / Part-time
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Instruct interns or residents in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Perform minor procedures and assist in routine surgery
- Provide emergency care
- Provide acute care management
- Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
- Provide pre-natal and post-natal care
- Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Perform patient advocacy role
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide continuous care to patients
- Supervise home care services
- Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authorities.

المهارات
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of medicine and specific concepts related to Women’s Health and Pediatrics.
Education and Experience:
- An MD or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a medical internship and medical residency at an accredited medical facility and Board Certification in Dermatology
- Licensed (or eligible) to Practice Medicine in the State of Kuwait with a rank of Consultant

Women’s Sexual Medicine
- Sexual health education and counselling;
- Sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment;
- Cancer Screening
- Birth control counselling and prescriptions;
- PrEP and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis);
- Pregnancy counselling, testing and support;
- Per Kuwait Law Counselling for:
- Abortion services (medical abortion and surgical abortion)
- Post Abortion Care
Younge Women’s Health
