Main Responsibilities:
– Managing and maintaining core network infrastructure (MPLS & IP).
– Providing 3rd level support for 2nd and 1st line engineers.
– Network troubleshooting in case of network failures.
– Plan, design, test and implement new services, products, and projects in the area of scope.
– Plan, design and implement new PoPs, core links & NNIs.
– Provide consultancy for designing customer solutions to the presales team.
– Plan and execute network outages & software & hardware upgrades.
– Coordinate with providers, vendors & partners for maintenance, new implementations, and needed upgrades.
– Monitor and maintain core SLA statements.
– Documentation of related systems and services.
– Continuously improve technical knowledge & skills.

المهارات
Technical Skill:
Advanced skill in understanding and configuring routing protocol operation
– BGP, OSPF
– Advanced skill in understanding and configuring switching technologies (Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, Dot1Q, QinQ)
– Advanced knowledge of MPLS architecture and operations
– Advanced knowledge of QoS architecture
– Advanced knowledge of IP multicasting and IPv6.
– Advanced knowledge of the Cisco platform (software and hardware)
Experience Required:
– 10+ years of work experience in a Service Provider Environment Education:
– University Degree in Computer engineering or Equivalent.
– Cisco Certifications (CCIE is preferred).
Soft Skills:
– Analytical thinking, fast reaction, problem-solving abilities, strong teamwork spirit, excellent communications skills & self-improvement capabilities.
– Projects Management & unsupervised/independent task fulfillment abilities to meet the deadlines.
