Overview of the role:
The role is to Maximize all lease and car rental opportunities to bring profitable corporate & leisure business for Thrifty, Plan, allocate and monitor own sales strategies, targets and sales performance so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
What you will do:
• Maximize all lease and car rental opportunities to bring profitable corporate business for Thrifty
• Plan, allocate and monitor own sales strategies, targets and sales performance so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded
• Build strong and effective account management relationships with all customers allocated
• Win new customers from building own prospect base
• Develop customer relationships to enhance profit levels and penetration of services
• Train & develop a market leading sales force
• Plan and implement sales/customer retention and relationship development
• Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy within the sales and marketing function
• Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems
• Work closely with accounts and collections team to ensure debts are minimized
Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, whilst protecting and developing the company's brands via suitable PR activities and own presentation.

• Min. 5 to 10 years experince in Sales
• Preferred rental cars or banking & Finance background
• B2B experience
• Excellent communication skills
About the Team:
The role of the Sales Manager will report to the Country Manager and you will be working based in Muscat, overseeing all B2b corporate sales as well as leisure opportunities throughout Oman. You will be managing a team of 3 BDM’s and will be cooperating with The Operations and Finance department on a daily basis.
What equips you for the role:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge : Diploma/ Degree
Minimum Experience : Minimum 5 year sales management experience in automotive industry, preferably in car rental, with solid sales background.
Job-Specific Skills : PC- literate : MS-Office, Valid Oman Driving license
Behavioural Competencies : Interpersonal Skills, Leadership Skills, Ability to work under
Pressure. Good Verbal & Written Communication, Decision
Making Tact, Strong Administrative skills. Ability to motivate self and team. Ability to build a strong, engaged sales team.
