الوصف الوظيفي

The IT Service Desk Manager is expected to manage day to day service desk operations for information technology services effectively & efficiently by

  • Monitor and report on service level performance & capacity using also relative key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Identify and resolve major & urgent service desk issues
  • Enforce continuous improvement of service desk processes
  • Maintain high satisfaction levels for it unit “internal” customers (business & service units)
  • Manage the activities in it service desk unit
  • Supervise the day to day operations of the service desk.
  • Ensure adherence to the respective to it, bank’s policies & procedures.
  • Identify potential problems and provide immediate solutions.
  • Provide up-to-date process documentation and communicates project information to staff.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for it services performance, as well as issues & proposals regarding it service desk operations.
  • Use data/ reports to drive continuous improvement of performance and faults.
  • Responsible for incident management process, addressing all escalated issues raised by the customers.
  • Project planning activities.
  • Recommending new technology improvements
  • Providing diagnosis and solutions for escalated issues
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

المهارات

  • University Degree (IT)
  • ITIL certification
  • Microsoft Certification
  • Project Management Knowledge
  • ITIL Operation Certification
  • PMP / Agile or Prince2 Certification
  • At least 5 years or above relevant IT related job role experience
  • Network support experience or background (CCNA equivalent)
  • Windows OS and Microsoft Applications support experience or background (MCP equivalent)
  • Citrix support experience or background on Thin-Client implementation
  • Good communication skills and customer oriented individual (BPO experience)
  • Team player, flexible on work shift timing schedule
  • Willing to work on demanding environment with minimal supervision
