Marsh is seeking candidates for a Property Broker in NY.

- In this Property Broker role, you will develop an understanding of the clients business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients.
- Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.
- Completes policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary.
- Delivers technical expertise in the delivery and presentation of RFP's
- Acts as lead advisory colleague on medium d, less complex books of business.
- Develop an understanding of the clients business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provides advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
- Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for standard client needs.
- Execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement, Advisory Leader and Client Executive and executes in accordance with client instructions.
- Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
- Partner with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver the best options to clients.
- Builds and maintains relationships with clients , and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
- Maintain quality in all areas of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client is satisfied.
- Keep abreast of changing market conditions and contributes to the firm's body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication

We will count on you to:
- Maintain and manage existing book of Energy clientsthrough daily interaction of clients needs.
- Maintain and Solicit new clients and expanded opportunities by developing internal and external relationships.
- Work with various Energy Property Insurance markets to place Marsh clients with for best terms and conditions available in the market place.
- Populate Property market submissions, negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters and communicates quotes to clients.
- Responsible for overseeing the correct issuance of all documentation pertaining to the transaction including, but not limited to invoicing, policy review and all pre and post binding documentation.
What you need to have:
- 4+ years industry experience
- Property lines and broking experience highly preferred
- P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
- Bachelors degree preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $62,280 to $132,840.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
