Job Title : Project Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions
Location : Muscat, Oman
Job Description :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Act as a liaison to the Director of Business Services in all Merger and Acquisition related activities
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders on progress, issues, and impediments to on-boarding projects
  • Understand project specific transaction KPI's and other project management processes to accomplish objectives set by the team
  • Identify and analyze mergers to provide reporting on potential corporate risk
  • Act as a project manager for specific M&A's while providing consistent updates to the Director
  • Provide status updates to Senior Management with respect to changes in scope or cost of the project
  • Analytically approach project management to provide accurate status reports to assist in any strategic decisions
  • Understand the business at a high-level to assist in decision making similar, but not limited to, who to involve with projects and how all M&A activities affect business productivity
  • Assist in education of project management best practices throughout the organization

Skills
Education and/or Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
  • 3+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Relevant Mergers and Acquisitions experience
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Critical thinking through problem solving
  • Strong, professional communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, action oriented and capable of independently driving projects
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
