Director- Trade Product Management & Innovation (UAE National Only)

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the job is to evolve, commercialize and manage a subset of products across traditional trade, and open account solutions offering to CIB clients in order to contribute to the GTB revenue growth and to meet clients needs. The role will be responsible for managing existing traditional trade and open account products (including the development of product policies and papers), assist the product teams in developing new product solutions, customizing product solutions to meet client needs and ensuring the solutions can be delivered for the client within existing FAB infrastructure capabilities. Finally, the role will also involve working closely with the GTB Channels team in developing and rolling out of new technological solutions which will lead to improvement in our delivery of trade products.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Product Development and Management
  • Stakeholders (Internal & External) Management
  • Participation/ Representation in industry events (e.g. GTR)
  • To actively support the Trade Product Management, Product Development, and delivery functions, within the existing landscape, across:
    • Traditional trade products (e.g. Letters of Credit, Letters of Guarantees, Discounting and Financing products etc
    • Open account solutions (e.g. Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Inventory Financing etcContribute to new innovative solutions/ideas and projects or any other initiatives from time to time.
  • Assist in building and growing trade capabilities of the Bank in line with market trends, corporate strategies, client needs.
  • Timely develop product and policy guidelines, responsible to obtain all necessary risk and quality assurance approvals.
  • Assist is rolling out of new product structures and variants of trade products and solutions.
  • Attend Client Meetings involving complex requirements and help in developing right solutions for our client. Provide guidance and support to RMs, Advisory teams for promoting the relevant products.
  • Support the commercialisation of trade products by providing sales tools (pitch book and brochures) and training Advisory / Coverage team to ensure knowledge transfer resulting in successful sales.
  • Enhance the products based on new industry trends or opportunities as well as identifying gaps in current product based on the feedback provided by Coverage, Advisory and Clients
  • Collaborate with the Channels team in order to develop innovative and efficient electronic delivery solutions in UAE.
  • Assist in Strategizing, forging, and commercializing fintech partnerships to further build product capabilities
  • Complete all mandatory & personal development training as stipulated by management

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification – Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or equivalent discipline
Minimum Experience – 3+ years Transaction Banking experience. Candidate should have an experience in Open account solutions product roles, client interactions, and Team Management
