The Role:
Responsible to lead the demand planning team, manage the end-to-end Demand Planning Process by actively collaborating with cross functions and build consensus on the demand plan
Communicate demand information to the key stakeholders and lead the S&OP process
Execute all existing analytical tools and business processes to drive SKU-level forecast accuracy and bias metric improvements and maintain overall plan alignment
Manage monthly demand review process with key stakeholders for all markets ensuring business insights and sales plans are captured and translated into the demand plan
Evaluate and monitor forecast accuracy periodically to identify problematic areas and take corrective actions to maintain accuracy at target levels. Responsible to deliver forecasts and accuracy targets that drive appropriate inventory levels.
Use statistical forecast calculations, methods, and models to evaluate forecast results (MAD, BIAS, WMAPE)
Publish demand KPIs to senior management and key stakeholders
Provide leadership and engage and develop team members in a high-performance environment
Leads, motivate, train, and support the team of demand planners to go the extra mile and collaborate with other teams
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in Supply Chain or similar with end-to-end knowledge on Demand Planning, preferably in food or retail industry
- In-depth understanding of forecasting models
- Demonstrate advanced analytical and Demand planning / Forecasting logic Skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Has multi-brand, multi-market, multi-channel management experience
- High SKU count performance management experience
- Works good with people, from own teams or external teams, and able to influence others through effective communication
- Initiates and leads efficient meetings and business cases where applies
- Knowledge of Demand Planning software solutions such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, or other specialized systems would be an advantage
- Well-versed in Advanced Excel and MS Office Apps
