Job Description

A General Mechanic forKitchen, Laundry & Electrical Technician is responsible for designing, building, installing, and servicing machinery, components, and tools to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing
As a General Mechanic Kitchen, Laundry & Electrical Technician, you are responsible for designing, building, installing, and servicing machinery, components, and tools to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Mechanical Technician will also be required to develop and test machinery and ensure that inspections meet company standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Develop, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment by applying knowledge of mechanical engineering technology
Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products
Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components
Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and any recommendations
Design, build, install and service mechanical machinery, components and tools
Ensure quality inspections are carried out in line with company standards
Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Develop, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment by applying knowledge of mechanical engineering technology
Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for products
Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components
Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and any recommendations
Design, build, install and service mechanical machinery, components and tools
Ensure quality inspections are carried out in line with company standards
Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers
Preventive Maintenance of all Kitchen, LPG and Laundry equipment at the Hotel
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Check on performance of Kitchen, Laundry and Gas equipment system and components.
Check and maintain all hot ranges. Kettles, brazing pans, convention, ovens, Bain Maries, mixers pass counters, Cold cabinets, Dishwashers, Hot cabinet, Laundry equipment and all related equipment.
Works on maintenance request from all departments.
Ensure routine cleaning of all kitchen and Laundry equipment.
Check on performance of all kitchen and Laundry equipment filters, strainers.
Cooperate with all engineering staff on detection of failures of equipment and provide help for functions setup.
Overhauling of kitchen and Laundry equipments and system.
Check on water, oil level and control of major repair.
Provide service of F&B department for functions
Cooperate and inform Engineering store keeper on purchase of parts.
Work to be performed under normal and emergency conditions as and when necessary.
All work are to be carried out on following all technical rules, regulations and safety standards as required in Dubai-UAE.
To be fully trained in Emergency/Fire procedures
