A globally recognized fintech that offers a cross-border payment gateway and payment aggregation facility.
Your Responsibilities
- The General Manager serves in partnership with the Board, responsible for the success of the firm. Together, the Board and GM assure the accomplishment of the Firm's mission and vision across Saudi Arabia.
- The Board has delegated responsibility for management and day-to-day operations to the GM and has given him/her the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board.
- The GM provides direction and facilitates the Board in carrying out its governance functions.
- Set the vision, mission and strategy for the company along with the Board
- Lead, in conjunction with the Board, the development of the Firm's strategy
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategies, policies, management performance criteria and business plans
- Ensure that the Firm complies with all relevant laws, regulations and codes of best business practice
- Regularly review processes and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of its internal systems of control, so that its decision-making capability and the accuracy of its reporting and financial results are always maintained at a high level
- Identify key risk areas and key performance indicators of the business and monitor these factors
- Ensure the Firm is appropriately organized and staffed and hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy
- Ensure that expenditures of the Firm are within the authorized annual budget of the Firm
- Communicate effectively with shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public
- Ensure that the Directors are properly informed, and that sufficient information is provided to the Board to enable the Directors to form appropriate judgments
- Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Firm's standards and policies
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of proven success in a similar role
- Experiences in leading operations/marketing, strong understanding of growth tactics, and a proven track record of working with high-performing teams
- A proven track record in the areas of leadership and achievement
- Strong marketing and businesses development capabilities
- Stakeholder management experience
- Ability to see the bigger picture
- Commercial focus (numbers)
- Native level Arabic and fluency in English is a must – (Saudi Nationals will be given first priority)
- Communication. Being the face of a market means having excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be inspirational to your team, partners, investors and the public
- Data-focused. Ability to roll up your sleeves to pull and analyse data. You will push the company to be more data-driven in its approach for excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build and manage strong relationships with the team, cross functional colleagues, and external partners
- Entrepreneurship mentality. Must be a self-starter and leader who evaluates risks and rewards of running an innovative sustainable operation
- A passion for Fintech and payments.
- High level of organization and focus and ability to work under pressure
