Objectives:

Our client, a leading investment bank in the MENA region, is looking for a Head of IT to join their team in KSA, Riyadh. The main objective for this role is to direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and financial data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information technology systems for BLOMINVEST Saudi Arabia.
Develops and monitors the approved annual operating and capital budgets for the information and technology systems.
Manage relationships with IT suppliers and maintains knowledge of current technology, equipment, prices, and terms of agreements, to minimize the investment required to meet established service levels.
Evaluates alternatives and performs proper cost benefit analysis to recommend appropriate solutions.
Approves, coordinates, and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
Oversees the back-office computer operations of the management information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks.
Responsible for the management of multiple information and communication systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, and office automation.
Designs, implements, and evaluates the systems that support end-users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
Develops and implements user-training programs.
Ensures the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
Oversees and evaluates system security and back-up procedures.
Prepares and reviews all hardware, software, and telecommunication services acquisition and maintenance contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management team members as appropriate.
Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Interacts with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing, and dissemination of information

المهارات

Computer Science / Engineering degree
Masters in a Business-related field is recommended
10-12 years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leading position
Capital Market experience
Excellent Project Management Skills
