Key relationships:
– Internal – Head of Marketing, Trade Marketing Manager, Sales Managers, Supply/Demand Planner, Commercial, Accountant.
– External – Advertising Agency, Media Agency, Research Agency, Suppliers .
Core purpose of the job:
– To own, lead, manage and grow designated product portfolio.
– Assist Head of Marketing in delivering assigned projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage projects related to:
a. New Product Development
b. Packaging design
c. Product Communication
d. Consumer promotions
e. Sampling plan & execution
f. Consumer Research
g. Market intelligence
h. Other Corporate projects.
2. Strategic Planning – Develop/Execute Brand Strategy & Annual Marketing Plans for the assigned brands/categories.
3. Communication – Coordination with agency and follow-up on WIP projects.
4. Budgeting – Preparation of annual budget; Monitor performance vs. budget to propose actions.
5. Analysis – Monthly/Quarterly business review based on thorough analysis of reports – Retail Audits, Sales performance, Margin Performance, Competitive Activities, Sales/Stocks etc.
6. Research – Coordinate with research agencies on active projects.
7. Promotion – Development and execution of promotional activities in coordination with Trade Marketing.
8. Coordination – Coordinate with other functions as required and follow through.
9. Market Visits – Frequent visits to market to assess the situation and report findings.
المهارات
Min. Bachelors in Marketing or similar
Min. 3-5 years of Brand/Category Management experience in FMCG Industry
