liwwa is looking to hire a SME – Relationship Officer to join the Sales team to expand liwwa’s portfolio of borrowers as we expand!
Main Responsibilities:

Focusing on lending to the repeat borrowers.

Working with the Team Leader to identify existing clients that require follow up.

Managing a portfolio of accounts exceeding USD 3 Million (direct facilities).

Prospecting and building a sales pipeline by engaging with marketing leads via phone.

Visiting and presenting liwwa’s financial products to prospective clients.

Cross-selling liwwa’s range of products and services.

Maintaining the relationship with clients through and closely following up.

Responsible for marketing and customer acquisition activities through various methods to achieve set targets.

Anticipating and resolving all client related needs.

Managing client relationships from lead to live and onwards in conjunction with Account Management.

Building strong relationships internally to enable efficient interaction between liwwa and the clients.

Achieving financial quarterly targets based on contracts signed.

Researching, creating and following up on a target list of existing clients and new businesses.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
University Degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing).

Minimum 1-4 years of sales experience (Priority given to experience in SMEs).

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.

Outstanding negotiation skills.

Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic fluently.

Proficiency in MS Office products.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
-
Ability under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in banking facilities and trade finance is preferred.

Banking courses (Institute of Banking Studies, Internal Banking Courses, SME Training Courses (Opic courses/ Frankfurt school courses) can be an asset.

Experience within the financial sector.
