Job Summary:
The role holder is responsible for supporting the function to develop and edit compelling content to be uploaded on digital channels and websites. The role holder is also responsible for obtaining and collating all the relevant information and material to facilitate efficient content development.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains and collates relevant information from E-commerce functions, and develops compelling content to be uploaded on digital channels
- Develops and edits website content as per the business's requirements, and ensures it is in line with established guidelines and quality standards
- Assists the function to obtain information related to products to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date
- Supports the management to plan and execute the upload and deployment of all content in collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Design functions
- Gathers input and material from the design function to facilitate all graphic and art designing work
- Assists in coordinating with the Design function to develop the onsite photography strategy for product photography
- Utilizes analytics package (Omniture) to gather insights and facilitate photographic and content enhancements
- Validates the content uploaded on social media websites Identifies and escalates any content inaccuracy to the management and Social Media function to ensure that it is corrected in a timely manner
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
- Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development
- Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
