Catalog Manager

Roles and Responsibility:
- Manage and lead the catalog team supporting multiple categories that populate/procure content for the Dumyah Catalog.
 - Developing, and improving current and new processes and SOP's.
 - Enhance the quality of catalog content to reach 90% or above.
 - Revamping/ opening new categories when there is a business need.
 - Update all content to follow the latest modern standards and trends.
 - Optimize the search engine by providing the engine with the right keywords for the query
 - Adding specifications and types for catalog based on the category's requirements
 - Providing the management with daily, weekly, and, monthly reports
 - Stay up to date with all trends and technologies related to data monitoring, enhancing, and developing new ways to give the customer the best UX
 - Interact with the technical team to fulfill the catalog requirements.
 - Monitor individual KPIs (productivity, quality, utilization, etc), escalate and dive deep into deviations
 - Set the guidelines for any amendment in the catalog or product page
 - Maintain the links of all pages on Dumyah
 - Maintain consistency in the data
 - Follow best practices in SEO to be reflected on Dumyah
 - Perform root cause analysis, researching for missing information, finding the main gaps, and solving them
 - Contributes to correction of error process by documenting issues and owning actions of change
 - Drives improvement and optimization initiatives that work toward a metric improvement of processes/functions at the site level
 - Share knowledge and best practices with the team by email, shadowing sessions, workshops, and training sessions.
 - Effectively prioritizes work time to ensure productivity and fulfills department standards for time spent
 - Taking part in planning, organizing, and directing the work of subordinates or others
 - Outline procedures and instructions on work received
 - Make time estimates on new jobs received
 - Check the accuracy/quality of content creation/population done by others
 - Ensuring records are maintained accurately
 - Ensuring utilization of the team is high
 - Mentor and train new team members.
 - Work with various internal teams
 - Content creation
 - Identifying and correcting errors/complaints

- Strong written communication skills
 - Good working knowledge of MS Office
 - People management (team management, leadership role, and category lead)
 - Mentor and guide quality lead
 - Process Expert to manage quality, improve process efficiency and minimize variation, conceptualize, design, and deliver training to the team
 - Manage the team and ensure high-service delivery and execution
 - Promote tech solutions to scale the process and develop skills within the team

 - The pace of implementation & consistency in performance
 - Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data
 - In-depth understanding of modern database and information technologies

 - Ability to compile and organize findings and data retrieved before presenting it to management
 
Basic Qualifications
- +2 years of experience
 - Managerial experience
 - Graduate in any stream
 - The ability to develop and scale teams and processes using technology
 - Fluent in written and oral communication in Arabic and English
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Directly managed operations team of 10 or more headcount
 - 1- 2 years of experience in data-driven business operations processes
 - Masters in Business or Information Technology
 - Strong business communication skills
 - Ability to dive deep into a problem, perform ‘Root Cause Analysis, and identify constraints to recommend a solution.
 - Exposure to back-office operations, escalation management, and troubleshooting environments.
 - Resistance to repetitive tasks and ability to identify automation opportunities
 - Quality management, knowledge of MS office packages especially Office and Excel, 7 QC tools, etc.
