Business Analyst
Smart Charging Technologies is looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.
The purpose of this role is to design reporting, perform analysis and provide insights to deliver significant value to the business. The role involves working in all areas of the Business and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver significant IT/ Business improvement projects.
This position operates in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. To be successful in this position you will need to think critically, have a natural curiosity to understand how things work, and can work to deadlines with a high level of communication and attention to detail. We are looking for a team member who has a professional and collaborative approach and can demonstrate experience and creativity in a complex system and application design.
Ideally, the right candidate is analytical with strong documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conducting complex and detailed business and systems process analysis and design for new and currently implemented systems.
- Extracts and documents requirements through UML diagrams, BPMN diagrams, process flow diagrams, etc…
- Write and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications
- Identify, understand, analyze and communicate the customer process and information requirements of the overall solution, through business requirements
- Analyzing /Documenting existing systems in a detailed way including UI behavior, business rules, validations, formulas, business flows, backend processes, etc…
- Collaborate with developers and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process.
- Gathering technical requirements, from technical leads and materializing them into technical documents.
- Maintain and update relevant documentation and specifications for proposed system changes
- Supporting users and answering queries on system functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Four or more years of Business Analyst experience and software development
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a penchant for asking important and relevant questions.
- High proficiency in technical writing
- Extensive experience and hands-on UML and BPMN are a must
- Excellent attention to detail
