Responsibilities:
Administratively and executively supervises the work of its employees, ensures that the work is carried out with the required efficiency and accuracy and within the specified times, determines the objectives of the employees jointly with them and in accordance with the Director of the Department, evaluates and develops their performance, and determines and distributes their leave with a view to continuing to provide optimal service at all times.
Participates in determining the needs of the Bank / its subsidiaries and sister companies according to the priorities of the management and in a manner consistent with the directions and instructions of the management and the requirements of the Bank, and participates in the feasibility studies related to those projects in terms of the possibility of achieving the required objectives and in a way that reflects on the development of work and improve the overall performance and ensures the provision of optimal service to customers.
Determines the overall objective of each project in line with the strategies in force in the Bank(s) and its subsidiaries, develops/participates in drawing up a plan for the projects to be implemented in the Bank, and identifies the needs required for its completion by participating in the selection of the persons involved in the project, the expected time for its completion, and the financial, technical and administrative resources that the project needs to complete it as required.
Determines the relationship between the various parties, the joint departments and with the project managers in all matters related to the implementation of projects, organizes the work of the project work team, supervises them and coordinates among them, participates in determining the tasks assigned to each person and makes sure that the work is accomplished at the individual level and at the level of the work team.
Monitors/ensures compliance with the budgets placed on all projects applied in the Bank through periodic follow-up and review of financial matters and related expenses and takes decisions that contribute to controlling costs and compliance with the project budget according to the delegated powers.
Supervises / follows up the work of the project step by step with the concerned project officials, monitors all stages of the work of implementing technical and administrative projects in a way that ensures that they do not deviate from their planned path through periodic measurement and evaluation of the stages of projects, and takes appropriate decisions to reform the implementation paths.
Participates in the study/selection/recommendation to contract with the companies intended to implement the projects after confirming their capabilities and ability to meet the requirements of the bank and sister and subsidiary companies.
Ensures that all companies supplying / contracting with them to implement the projects are implementing the required of them with the required efficiency and accuracy and within the specified times, and that they adhere to the agreed specifications and standards, in a way that protects the rights of all parties and submits periodic reports on the status of those companies proving his recommendations to the direct supervisor.
Conducts research and surveys on the best practices and automated systems applied in banks, international companies and competition and proposes the appropriate ones, in order to help achieve the objectives of the bank and develop its business, and proves its recommendations and submits them to the direct supervisor.
Prepares, submits periodic reports on the progress path of each project (status report) / any problems or deviations from the plans set and proves its recommendations and submits them to the direct official to take the appropriate decision.
Ensures that the day-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with the approved policies and procedures and within the limits of the powers granted in order to preserve the rights of the Bank.
Examines internal and external audit reports related to the work of the Department and follows up on addressing problems and observations radically to prevent their recurrence in the future.
Acts as an original/replacement member within the Business Continuity Plan and the essentially generalized emergency teams, and carries out all the tasks required of it under the plan and to ensure that the effects of crises are minimized and operations are retrieved as soon as possible.
Skills and competencies:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any related discipline.
At least (8) years of work experience in project management/banking sector.
Excellent English conversation and writing skills.
Project management related certification and/or training(Prince, PMP, ACP)
Knowledge of using the computer and dealing with the applied systems.
Supervisory and management skills.
