Qualifications
- University degree
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale paid and organic social media campaigns (esp. on channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google)
- Experience with digital/social media, branding and marketing in a professional services environment preferred
- Deep knowledge of social media measurement and metrics
- Ability to work collaboratively, mentor and manage others, and influence senior stakeholders in a global team environment, often virtually
- Exceptional organization and project management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English as well as the local office language
Who You'll Work With
You'll be part of our global Talent Branding and Engagement team, under our Communications function. This team helps prospective candidates learn about, and be inspired by, the wide variety of career paths at McKinsey.
Our current Talent Branding and Marketing team includes ten people who span the globe. We're an inclusive and collaborative group that offers flexibility and autonomy and expects innovation and execution in equal parts.
You can be based in any of our 130+ locations around the world and will work closely with the global leaders and recruiters in Talent Attraction.What You'll Do
You will lead our paid and organic social media strategy to help us tap into new talent pools, reach and engage priority candidates, and elevate our talent brand.
In this role, you will regularly evaluate our channel and content strategy, manage a large and growing paid social media budget, prioritize investments of time and resources, and manage a small and growing immediate team as well as a broader, firm-wide network of social media practitioners at McKinsey. You'll develop overarching firm-wide campaigns to build awareness of McKinsey careers among priority talent segments and diverse new audiences. You will prepare tools, templates, and processes to help offices, recruiters and hiring managers reach their target audiences. You'll find new ways to activate current colleagues as brand ambassadors and grow our employee advocacy program. You'll collaborate closely with the firm-wide social media team (which focused more on client level communications), colleagues at all levels within Talent Attraction and Communications, and creative agencies.
You'll develop cohesive, sophisticated dashboards for advanced social media and candidate behavior analytics. You'll optimize our content, format and channel mix to improve return on spend. You will regularly communicate your approach, recommendations and results to team members and Talent Attraction leadership globally.
You will grow and further develop your existing skills in paid social media with the support of your colleagues. Your expertise will help recruit the next generation of talent to help McKinsey accomplish its purpose to create enduring, positive change in the world.
