In the Enterprise Public Sector sales team we are looking for Government Industry Advisors with a passion for being thought leaders on WW industry ecosystems and delivering industry-focused sales for Microsoft, developing and winning market-making opportunities that deliver customer value and enable transformational customer outcomes. As an Industry Advisor you will be the Industry subject matter expert in digital business transformation, engaging with senior business decision makers to identify, generate and nurture new business opportunities through industry priority scenarios. You will articulate and position strategic business value and long-term positive results of using Microsoft's products and solutions, collaborating with your peers to successfully close deals. - Drive big bold ideas with customer that impact commercial success and close large, multi-year, market-making digital transformation partnerships and wins leading to accelerated growth of Microsoft's Industry clouds.
- Incubate new opportunities for Microsoft across Azure, Modern Work, Business Applications and Security that evidence positioning of Industry Priority Scenarios.
- Accelerate demand generation with customer-leverage senior BDM relationships (C-suite, LOB leaders)Delivernet new multi-horizon incremental revenue/pipeline and Azure consumption.
- Lead and facilitate ideation and envisioning, enterprise level strategic discussions with customers centered on business solutions with CxO/LOB stakeholders.
- Deliver Operational Excellence, manage and optimize time spent collaborating with customers and lead orchestration with core account team to realize value by exceeding customers expectations.
10+ years experience working in an government industry, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)

- or bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field and 7+ years of experience working in a relevant government industry, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
- or master's degree in business administration degree and 5+ years experience working in an government industry, driving digital transformation, or relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)

5+ years people management/ leadership experience or equivalent
prior work experience at a business strategy consulting (mckinsey, accenture, eds, kpmg or the equivalent) or at a competing cloud and technology company (oracle, ibm, sap, salesforce.com, vmware, cisco, amazon, google or equivalent) preferred
