We are looking for an experienced Purchasing specialist with international experience of minimum of 5 years.
Salary: AED 6000 – 7000
Industry: Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Must

Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier quotations and make recommendations for Production fasteners & purchased components provides cross-functional team with applicable supplier data aa s backup for supplier selection and approval processes
- Field paper inquiries from Production
- Support and assist Purchasing Manager in coordination with other departments on formulating larger purchase contracts
- Support Engineering with new product launches, prototypes, tool build, and trials, for production items purchased
- Initiate and finalize (with the assistance of the Purchasing Manager and Supplier the Quality) Supplier Approval process
- Initiate purchase orders/contracts with appropriate approvals
- Establish and communicate supplier lead times, optimum packaging, shipping parameters and any other purchasing parameters necessary, to the P&F support members
- support Materials Department in working with suppliers to effectively resolve delivery issues in a timely manner, as necessary
- Work with team members and other departments to negotiate and set up production-related Transportation Agreements
