IMI CIB – Middle Office Officer/Manager – Dubai
Location:
Dubai, AE
Scope and Purpose
The position will incorporate a variety of tasks based upon department needs as well as support to other Middle East branches, in particular Abu Dhabi. These will include:

Daily reconciliation of trading positions between front & back office systems, investigating discrepancies and anomalies as required. Products include MMKT, FX, Fixed Income, CD

Daily generation, analysis and distribution of Treasury unit P&L, utilizing the Kondor+ application.

Daily monitoring and reporting of the branches FX exposure.

Production, review and distribution of various ad-hoc reports to the departments of the branch incorporating trade analysis, static data management, rate fixing, risk exposure and credit limit monitoring.

Provide support and guidance to both front line and support operations of the branch while actively proposing and implementing change management where required.

Primary involvement in Head Office derived projects, incorporating data gathering, analysis, solution proposal and implementation.

Preparation of MIS/Dashboards and segmental results.

Daily preparation of Bank Reconciliation.

Preparation of VAT Return (on a quarterly basis) together with Accounting Team.

Performing ad hoc tasks assigned by the Line Manager. expebcib
Required Experience
Proven experience in a Treasury or Corporate Investment Banking environment
Competencies Required

Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance or related discipline (e.g. Mathematics)

Experience of Misys Kondor+ Treasury application an advantage.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (VBA experience preferable and Power BI is a plus).

Basic programming proficiency (SQL).
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

Chartered qualifications preferable.

Independent thinker able to evaluate problems and propose logical solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse articulately with all areas of the business.

Able to deliver both qualitive and quantitative objectives within pressured time constraints.

Understand System P&L process and basic P&L decomposition for all products and systems.

Strong organizational and presentational skills.

Previous experience of project implementation an advantage.

Fluent English, knowledge of the Italian language an advantage.

Background in Accounting and Finance an advantage.

IT literate
