Admin Team · Khaitan, Kuwait TITLE: WEB/GRAPHIC DESIGNER Primary Functions:
The Web Designer is fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of the school website, ensuring that the style and layout is maintained. He should work on the production process of dynamic and static website pages. Responsibilities include interior page layout, content formatting, CSS creation, HTML files and Flash, design custom graphics. REPORTS TO: IT MANAGER
Requirements:
BA Degree
Minimum of 2 Years experience in Web and Graphic design.
Proactive in handling all responsibilities.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out the development process from design to completion.
Work on the development of web applications (Action Scripts, Flash, XML, CSS, and XHTML).
Posting completed site to internet server using FTP software.
Testing the web sites for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions.
Designing a draft pages for directors approval or modification.
Creating templates of approved website layout.
Creating and designing custom graphics using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Writing web pages in a combination of codes such as hypertext mark-up language (HTML),JavaScript, and Flash
Take part in the future planning of a new web site, meeting and discussing ideas for the layout and organization of the site, the types of colors or images to use (photos, illustrations, videos)
Update current information on web pages
Coordinating with principals, activity coordinators and other comity members for news and events to be posted.
Maintaining and updating the Photo Sale application.
Designing school brochures, pamphlets and other promotional materials.
Updating the Edline webpage photos
Taking pictures of key occasions for web updates.
Other Responsibilities:
He also is responsible to help the IT Support Team when there is a need.
