The role holder is responsible for supporting the development of the stc B2B strategy based on the overarching stc Group strategy and cascade across B2B sectors & entities
The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
• Formulates & develops 3-years B2B strategy and align with B2B Financial Planning Department for the B2B 3-year financial plan development; ensuring consistency and cohesion in communication with Corporate Strategy • Reviews the strategy periodically or as deemed necessary in alignment with Corporate strategy to ensure strategy effectiveness with market conditions
• Cascades the B2B Strategy into strategic program & strategic objectives and align it across B2B Organization
• Details the strategic initiatives contributing to the strategic objectives, in collaboration with the B2B organization (strategy formulation / co-development workshops with the owners)
• Consolidates, validate, and communicate the B2B strategic initiatives (collated workshop outcomes)
• Defines strategic & financial KPIs, in consideration of Corporate Strategy targets and B2B strategy formulation, at Strategic Program, Strategic Objective & Initiatives level
• Identifies B2B risk in coordination with B2B sectors and entities, and ensure the mitigation plans are imbedded within the B2B strategic initiatives and developed in accordance to the B2B Risk Management Framework
• Communicates B2B priorities & key initiatives with Group functional units, including HR, Regulatory, Technology & Operations, Corporate Strategy, and others as relevant, and align on cross-sectoral strategic dependencies and linkage to Group strategy
• Defines the process to manage cross-sectoral dependencies, and document, and ensure buy-in on them
• Oversees B2B strategy detailing into B2B sectors and entities' level and the strategic plan development by the initiative owners and support as needed
• Aligns with BSC management team on the strategic & Financial KPIs' mapping to B2B sectors' and entities level; to ensure fulfillment in measuring the intended strategy impact
• Consolidates and review B2B sectors and entities' strategic plans, including initiatives and KPIs, and assess their cohesion, comprehension, consistency, and linkage with the overarching strategy and operating model
• Defines the B2B overall operating model, including how B2B entities are overseen and how intra-group interactions are managed
• Oversees the implementation (or the enacting) of the B2B operating model according to the entity mandates including split of products, customers, markets, KPIs, etc…
• Controls & monitors B2B operating model and map strategic initiatives (including tools, business model, processes, incentive model, segmentation, etc…) to it to ensure consistency & alignment with effective policies and frameworks & desired strategy outcomes
• Develops EBU Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and other annual plans, in alignment with B2B sectors & entities, and review & consolidate entities Annual Plans
• Validates, and develop as required, relevant Group Annual strategy management exercises (e.g. BigBets, PMB, etc…), ensuring alignment & engagement of B2B Entities and strategy owners • Adheres to stc Group governance mechanisms in relation to strategy management & executions, such as Strategy-to-Execution (S2E) process
Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by line manager
