Graphic Designer
Creative, Muscat – Oman
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Produce visual solutions to communication needs by finding most appropriate means to deliver the goal. Use diverse tools including video editing, typeset, color, photography, and illustration to create a general layout. Design the overall outline of signs, publications, marketing material, promotional displays, and logos.
Major accountabilities:
• Design of artworks, photomontages and develop ideas
• Thinking creatively to produce some supports of communication.
• Using a wide range of media and graphics software’s and tools, including photography, photoshop, illustration and any other tools required to for arts and graphics.
• Contributing some ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
• Regularly photograph of client’s advertising campaigns managed by the company.
• Deliver mockups and digital renderings.
• Create digital content and creative concepts.
• Research and improve the quality of concepts and come up with innovative concepts.
• Prepare, continuously develop, and update advertising products, maps and technical specifications.
• Develop specific artworks as needed and validate internal artworks.
• Update internal marketing related content and reports.
• Create Mock-ups for new installations.
• Create Mock-ups for approvals of products or concepts.
• bringing ideas for new locations and for new advertising concepts.
• Checking artworks sizes and resolutions when necessary.
• Fixing clients’ artworks when necessary and as required.
• Creating ad-hoc artworks as required.
• Come up with ideas and designs to use for fillers on our faces.
• Regularly photograph for new locations identified for installing assets and advertising as necessary.
• Creating customized templates and presentations.
• Develop concepts and design materials including videos, newsletters, invitations, advertisements, flyers, vouchers, direct mail, postcards, and coupons.
• Proofread to produce error-free and high-quality work
• Managing and maintaining graphic files, including photos, logos, and artworks.
• Providing support to other department’s related to content creation.
• Production of Marketing/Sales materials, including, but not limited corporate brochures, photograph prints and mini-posters as leave-behinds, PowerPoint presentations
• Photography—photo editing (replacing posters, superimposing two or more shots, correcting colors, etc.)
• Create social media content – motion and static
• JCDecaux Portfolio—process of archiving all of digital imagery, including all posters as well as photography of our structures in malls, airports, and in the streets.

• Beginner-mid level video editing
Education and Qualifications:
• Minimum college or university diploma in graphic design, communication or related field with 1-3 year experience.
• Excellent knowledge of video editing software, Photoshop, Quark Express, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
• Writing and editing skills
• Website design knowledge is an advantage
