. 1- Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
· 2- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles, such as compactors and trucks.
· 3- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, contracts, environmental policies, or government regulations.
· 4- Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
· 5- Implement schedule or policy changes for transportation services.
· 6- Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
· 7- Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, or meeting with individual staff members.
· 8- Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed fee and tariff increases or schedule changes.
· 9- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
· 10- Direct or coordinate the activities of operations department to obtain use of equipment, facilities, or human resources.
· 11- Analyse expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets for increasing profits or improving services.
· 12- Collaborate with other managers or staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
· 13- Plan or implement energy saving changes to transportation services, such as reducing routes, optimizing capacities, employing alternate modes of transportation, or minimizing idling.
· 14- Direct staff performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, or facilities.
· 15- Conduct employee training sessions on subjects such as hazardous material handling, employee orientation, quality improvement, or computer use.
· 16- Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services of operations department.
· 17- Conduct investigations in cooperation with government agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents, coordinate clean-up activities, or improve safety procedures.
· 18- Set operations policies and standards, including determining safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods.
· 19- Develop criteria, application instructions, procedural manuals, or contracts for federal or state public transportation programs.
· 20- Develop or implement plans to improve transportation services control from regional to national or global load control center operations.
· 21- Supervise clerks assigning tariff classifications or preparing billing.
· 22- Negotiate, authorize, or monitor fulfilment of contracts with equipment or materials suppliers.
· 23- Evaluate transportation vehicles or auxiliary equipment for purchase by considering factors, such as fuel economy or aerodynamics.
· 24- Identify or select transportation and communications system technologies to reduce costs or environmental impacts.
· 25- Provide administrative or technical assistance to those receiving transportation-related grants.
· 26- Direct procurement processes including equipment research and testing, vendor contracts, or requisitions approval.
· 27- Follow up with operation technicalities responsible on maintenance
· 28- Petty cash handling with Labours and drivers
· 29-Accept Customer Calls in Case of emergencies
· 30-Co-ordiantion with workshops and other extern suppliers
· 31- Visit sites to complete invoicing /Collection / Government related transactions
· 32- General Purchasing of company requirements
· 33- Calculate monthly drivers and labours over time and Commission
