About MDG :
Microcontrollers & Digital ICs Group (MDG) contributes to many of ST’s strategic goals for Industrial, Personal Electronics and Communications Equipment. MDG represents about one third of ST’s business.
MDG represents around 3 000 employees (mainly R&D teams in France) located in 40 countries, with a revenue of above
3 billion dollars in 2020. It is addressing 2 major activities: first, General Purpose (GP) Microcontrollers, Memories and Secure Micro (MMS Subgroup) covers all products based on Non-Volatile Memory technologies. It represents 80% of MDG business and second, The RFC Sub-Group focusing on Radio Frequency, Digital & Mixed Signals activities, represents 20% of MDG business.

Management and maintenance of components database.
The aims of this activity is to allow more relevant and automated Board production data management.
The candidate have to :
– Validation of requests and verification of its compatibility with predefined rules.
– Monitor and identify all the risks of probable issues of components
– Provide the support for Hardware engineering designers and resolve problems to improve the efficiency of the CAD library
– Following up the definition of components footprints and regulations according to internal standards with two subcontractors
– Assessment of obsolescence risks for newly added components
– Ensure regular import of Altium database into ERP SAP business one.
– Assessment of the database maintenance and Seeking for solutions to ensure the best library management and usability
– Making users up to date by ensuring a continuous communication.
PROFILE REQUIRED:

good electronics knowledge, Altium designer, good communication skills, Team work.
Additional Skills on VBA, SVN, SQL will be appreciated
