Job Description
Our client is a financial services trading platform and as part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE / GCC experienced FX payments partnership manager from the financial services (FOREX) sector to join their UAE operations.
The role is responsible for developing payment gateway merchant partnerships and driving operational excellence to improve the customer journey experience.
The successful candidate will be a commercially driven FX payments specialist with experience in FinTech, digital retail banking or financial services and has proven experience in the acquisition and management of payment providers.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in optimizing payment page success rates across all digital channels – web and mobile apps by improving the customer UI/UX to accelerate payment growth.
Role Summary
- Prospect potential partners and conduct due diligence to ascertain whether the partnership will be commercially beneficial for the organization and its customers.
- Establish payment provider partnerships at a strategic and operational level to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver a seamless customer payment journey.
- Develop easy to implement and use payment gateway solution delivery strategies and plans.
- Conduct due diligence on payment partners and negotiate commercial terms with payment providers.
- Smoothly sign on and onboard payment merchants.
- Define affiliate partner reconciliation, collections and settlement models and processes; lead the continuous improvement of integration processes.
- Work closely with payment merchants to accelerate customer acquisition, activation and retention.
- Collaborate with the business development team to integrate payment gateway provider solutions into the sales cycle.
- Conducting market research, gap, portfolio and sector specific value propositions analysis to develop merchant partnerships and leverage existing partnerships.
- Strong experience in commercial discussions, pricing strategies and contract negotiation with potential partners and third parties.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 7 – 10 years’ experience in B2B relationship management with B2B and B2C payment gateway services merchants to improve digital conversion rates.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen in digital / e-commerce / BNPL payment revenue optimization and building profitable and sustainable payment models.
- Strong working knowledge of payment processing technology and integration solutions with a deep understanding of technical, digital and commercial feasibility.
- Must have experience in developing and delivering digital payment roadmaps and tracking performance; digital product management experience.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively use merchant data insights.
- Revenue and profit growth mindset with strong process enhancement capabilities.
- UAE / GCC driving license.
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams third parties and C-level executives.
- Proactive with a deep sense of accountability and ownership; willing to take calculated risks.
- Self-starter champion of continuous improvement.
- Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
