Job Description

Our client is a well-established retailer and as part of their growth, we are recruiting an experienced e-commerce and digital marketing specialist to join their Dubai head office.

Reporting to the CEO, the role will lead the digital marketing for e-Commerce and retail to accelerate revenue growth through e-commerce and retail stores.

Role Summary

  • Build and execute online campaigns – write and share product content, images and banners.
  • Manage local e-commerce operations including building digital catalogs, merchandising, buying and customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including inventory management, monitoring the digital shelf, and executing the go to market strategy for new products.
  • Manage promotional landing pages and optimize the customer journey to increase conversion and improve website performance.
  • Monitor online retailers and marketplaces to ensure accuracy of content, images, pricing, and inventory and identify white space opportunities.
  • Conduct shopping funnel site A/B testing and experimenting on digital channels, landing pages and creatives to maximize conversion rates.
  • Develop SEO friendly content and product listings that increases website traffic, new users, conversion rates, average order size, and customer retention.
  • Track and analyze consumer demographics, segmentation and buying behaviours to drive targeted campaigns.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as unique visitors, conversions, click through rate, spend, return rates and cart abandoned rates to drive improvements and identify growth and optimization opportunities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' strong experience in digital marketing for retail, ecommerce platforms and their functionality, best practices in on-site search and merchandising, SEO and social media optimization, link building and web analytics in consumer goods, lifestyle or sports retail and wholesale.
  • Strong experience in seller picks and promotions in the marketplace to exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Experience of Noon, Amazon Marketplace, Flipkart and Shopify.
  • Experience in executing site surveys to enhance UI/UX is a strong advantage.
  • Strong capabilities in writing online marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and showcase new products and promotions.
  • Experience in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, FullStory and Hotjar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong experience in V-lookup and Pivot tables.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
  • Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Self-starter and able to work in a high-growth environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
