SAIC is seeking an Interoperability Test Lead to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

SAIC is currently seeking an Associate LINK-16 Test Engineer Lead to support the integration, operation, and testing of tactical communications systems. The candidate will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and documenting technical findings related to the interoperability of systems under test using the LINK-16 communications protocol. Work with a team of engineers to develop formal test plans and procedures, design and implement test scenarios and architectures, and to execute and report test results. The successful candidate will also assist in coordinating planned tests with participating personnel, hardware/ software/ network configuration, and operation of test assets during Joint and Service level test events.

Responsibilities also include:

Generate system problem reports against MIL-STD reference material.
Supervise individual contributors, establish objectives and goals, mentor and developer individual contributors.
Compile data and complete test reports for acceptance.
Conduct Link-16 and/or Common Messaging Format (CMF) Service level testing.
Staff Interface Change Proposals (ICP), Data Link Change Proposals, Requests for Exemptions for the Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Standards Working Group and the Joint Multi-TDL(TDL) Configuration Control Board (CCB) as part of the Joint Interoperability Tactical Command and Control System Configuration Team.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) related field and five (5) years or more experience. 4 years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirement:

Must possess an active Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.

Required Skills:

Experience with Link-16
Familiar with test procedures and processes
Familiar with conducting hardware and software testing according to requirements
Proficient MS Office skills
Ability to collaborate within a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills

Desired Skills:

Understand MIL-STD 6011, 6018, 6020, and MIL-STD 3011 conformance deficiencies.
